Julie Carragher Faculty and Staff Julie has been providing care to the children at Sacred Heart School since 2014. Prior to coming to Sacred Heart, Julie was a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. In her work as a Nurse practitioner, she is a member of Team Heart, a non profit organization, that travels to Rwanda to provide life saving medical and surgical care to those suffering from Rheumatic Heart Disease. Julie graduated from Saint Anselm College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Boston College with a Master of Science in Nursing. Julie and her husband Brian have 2 sons, Nolan and Andrew, who both attended Sacred Heart and an adopted Rwandan daughter, Redempta. It is an honor and privilege to be able to respond to God's calling to care for his children. I am inspired and seek to follow Mother Teresa in my daily work. As Mother Teresa notes, “The fruit of faith is love, and the fruit of love is service…spread love everywhere you go. At Sacred Heart School, the child is in the center and embraced as a unique child of God. Each child is nurtured and encouraged in all aspects, academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. The foundation is laid here for each child to learn and know God and live his words of kindness in action. Sacred Heart embodies a community of people living their faith and following the commandment to love God with all of our hearts, souls and minds and to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves. In doing so, the children witness and respond to God’s gift of love.
