  • Our school has been providing students with quality Catholic education since 1913.

  • We currently enroll 265 students (Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 4) from 20 cities and towns.
  • We offer classes in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4.  
  • We proudly offer academic support through our Learning Center.  The Learning Center is available to students in Grade Pre-K 4y (4yr olds) through Grade 4. It is designed to provide academic support to those students on Individualized Education Plans, 504 Plans, or Speech & Language who require accommodations and differentiated instruction. The Learning Center faculty provide instruction to students within the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, depending on the students’ needs. The Learning Center is a quiet place to test, have a sensory break, and alternatively is a place for snack bunches and earning time to further accommodate students’ individual needs.
  • We have adopted MTSS (Multi Tiered System of Supports) which is a framework designed to identify and support struggling students who are not on an IEP.  This framework focuses on the whole child by supporting academic, social and emotional growth.
  • Full time school counselor on staff who teaches social/emotional learning lessons from Second Step, which is approved by the Archdiocese of Boston.
  • We have adopted PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports) which is an approach to promote school safety and positive behavior.
  • We offer before and after school programs, beginning at 7:00 am and running until 6:00 pm.  Our before/after school care program is located on our Sacred Heart School campus and is run by Champions.   • We teach Spanish in Grade 1 through Grade 4.
  • Our curriculums include art, music, physical education and computer skills.
  • Extra-curricular activities include:  a school choir, two full-production plays each year, 3rd & 4th grade boys and girls basketball teams which compete in the South Shore Parish School League.
  • Our enrichment programs include: Student Council, Book-It Partner Reading Program, Math Club, Art Club, Lego Robotics, Drama Club, Glee Club/Choir, Piano Lessons, Instrumental Lessons/School Band (bells, clarinet, drums, flute, saxophone, trombone, trumpet) 
  • Our Partnership School, St. Francis Xavier, is our Grade 5-8 campus.  
  • In addition to local public high schools, recent 8th grade graduates at our St. Francis Xavier School partner are attending the following schools: Archbishop Williams High School,  Boston College High School, Cardinal Spellman High School, Catholic Memorial High School, Fontbonne Academy, Notre Dame Academy, St. Sebastian’s School, Thayer Academy and Xaverian Brothers High School.
