Sacred Heart School initially received accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in 1995, and the school was granted continued accreditation in 2005. In 2013 the faculty and administration of Sacred Heart School began the self-study process required for continued accreditation. The self-study was designed to demonstrate how Sacred Heart School carries out its mission and meets the standards for accreditation. The self-study identified both strengths and weaknesses of Sacred Heart School and plans for school improvement. In addition to the self-study, a four-day visit was carried out by a visiting committee assembled by NEASC. Upon completion of all the requirements of NEASC, Sacred Heart School was granted continued accreditation in 2015.
