Welcome New Faculty and Staff

Middle School Science/Social Studies
We are pleased to introduce Mr. Timothy Walsh as our new middle school science/social studies teacher. Mr. Walsh holds a B.A. in History from Stonehill College, as well as an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of South Florida. Mr. Walsh is also a graduate of Sacred Heart School (Class of 2004). Mr. Walsh holds a teaching certificate from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is excited to get started. Mr. Walsh will be teaching social studies to grades 6-8 and science to grades 7 & 8. Mrs. Shelley will be adding grade 6 science to her schedule for the upcoming school year.

Art Teacher
Please also join me in welcoming Mrs. Lisa Walker as our new art teacher. Mrs. Walker holds a B.F.A. in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. For the past 7 years, Mrs. Walker has been a partner with our outgoing art teacher, Mrs. Scannell, in implementing the Pop-Up Art School at locations throughout the South Shore.

Library Teacher/Reading Specialist
Also joining our staff is Mrs. Laura Bosse, who will be teaching library to all grades and providing reading support to students in K2 – grade 3. Mrs. Bosse holds a B.S. in Communication Studies from New York University, as well as an M. Ed. from City University of New York – Brooklyn College through the New York City Teaching Fellows program. Mrs. Bosse was a second grade teacher in Brooklyn before committing her time to raising her two children. She’s excited to get back into a school environment!
