All Saints Day

For our All Saints Day Mass, each third grade student researches a saint of his/her choosing and prepares a brief presentation that is delivered during Fr. Sean's homily. Students have the option of dressing like their saint or using a special prop that is related to the saint's life. We are proud to present our 3rd grade saints for All Saints Day 2016...

Saint Anne

"Saint Anne is the patron saint of grandmothers. I chose my saint because she is Jesus' grandmother and she has the same name as me."

Saint Anthony

"Saint Anthony is the patron saint of the poor and finder of lost articles. I chose my saint because he has the same name as me and he loves the poor."

Saint Catherine of Genoa

"Saint Catherine of Genoa is the patron saint of brides and widows. One thing I like about my saint is that she took care of the sick and the poor."

Saint Cecilia

"Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians. I chose my saint because she devoted herself to God at a young age."

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary

"Saint Elizabeth of Hungary is the patron saint of bakers. I like my saint because she has the same name as me."

Saint Emily

"Saint Emily is the patron saint of single women. One thing I like about my saint is that she cared for less fortunate women, orphans, and elderly people."

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini

"Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini is the patron saint of immigrants. One thing I like about my saint is that she founded hospitals, orphanages, and schools in the United States."

Saint Genevieve
